New place! New shop!

OK, need to geek out for a quick second....WE GOT A NEW PLACE!!! I know i know...we don't move in till May. BUT OH EM GEE. i get to decorate and design and paint and everything else! I'm gushing I know. But anyways, I thought I'd show my terrible iPhone pics of the model, only b/c I want some input on the color scheme. We also bough a couch. Which was much more stressful then I'd ever have thought. (Wiggling one foot in the big girl panties...) 

Master Bedroom, they have tons of furniture in there, it is a much larger room than it looks like here.

Kitchen, This is both our favorite spot in the entire apartment! So new and clean! 

So onto the dilemma of the beige walls and the beige carpet. We COULD paint the walls. But since we are moving a month earlier than scheduled, we don't really have the time.  Anyways, I'd love to bring in some bright colors. The entire place as you can see is all pretty modern and up to date. The entire complex is only 1.5 years old. What are your thoughts? After seeing the place, what colors would you suggest? 

OH YEAH--almost forgot to mention. I will be launching my etsy shop this month. Please keep checking back to the The Big Orange Octopus for new paper goods! I will be updating it with invites, paper crafts and everything else in between.
