Sneak Peek!

So if you've been wondering, I've been working on filling my etsy shop with tons of good stuff!  So I thought today would be a great day to share a couple of things I've been working on.

And also to gush about the major project my father and I undertook two nights ago. Lets just say, the project turned out to be 80 Inches and 10lbs heavier than expected. (GASP!)  However I'm thankful that I had my dad to supervise during the use of some major power tools. Including an electric saw.

I know, I know, I'm all over the place today, but the creative juices are flowing, so even if you don't read after the jump, heres a pic to brighten up your day !

Luca, our dog, after a full day at Daycare. Yes, asleep, not dead.
(I know the couch is HORRIFIC, I had nothing to do with it, don't judge.)
Okay, so since I'm moving, I want the new place to look crafty and fun and still very modern and clean. So I decided instead of buying art to hang on the walls at Ikea & Target, that I would paint a few things. Better yet, stretch my own canvas to a custom size. Win Win! Well, I guess I underestimated the weight of wood. And I totally underestimated how long a couch is! So 80inches later...this is what we came up with.

I thought it would be much harder to stretch the canvas across without it bubbling.
However it proved to be quite simple.

For reference of size, thats a snowblower next to it.
Okay so here are the two problems with this epic of loveliness.

1. The man in my life is going to bop me on the head because it is so heavy! Lord knows if we can even hang it.

2. I have no idea what I'm painting on something this long! I have some abstract ideas. However I feel like with this much space, why not do something really fun like a sunset or something?!
(leave your thoughts in the comments section!

Alright so enough about my canvas that I have no idea what do with. Lets move on to my etsy shop that I've been preparing to fill. None of the items I am showing you today are available YET. But will be soon! I'm hoping to have at least 10 pieces of stationary and about 10 paper good options to start and go from there.  All the invites are wedding inspired, but could easily be changed to another type of formal party. Please let me know what your thoughts are!

Polka-Dots!
just love this type!

Argyle inspired!

I've always been a big fan of "wishies" (Dandelion seeds)
so what a better way to incorporate them into a place-card!

Ah so exciting! have a wonderful day! <3
